My dress was totally botched and not made by the measurements or as the picture shows. Rushed….It arrived in two weeks while I was still corresponding by email about the specifics of the dress. I asked if it was being made overseas and never got a clear answer. I’ve had bad experiences with overseas companies and sizes before.
The dress came as an off shoulder dress six inches too big in the waist, it came with a train and I requested not to have one and buttons not the color I asked for. The sheer was not the color requested as well. Alterations to the dress to have it ready in two weeks was $390. Marietta La Bella offered me $200 in refund. I haven’t seen it yet.
There is no phone number to call and no customer service and the sales person was dismissive.
Everything about this experience with Marietta La Bella was aweful. The dress is a disaster and I’m spending more money to get it redesigned before my event. I wish I could post pictures of this disaster of a dress. The alterations on the dress is costing me $391. Marietta La Bella says they don’t have to be responsible for refunding my money for alterations. I’ll never use them again.
There is no one to talk to all correspondence is through email. The dress is made overseas and the person behind the email is not making the dress or passing the information to the dress maker.
Beware Beware Beware
You ordered a customized dress on November 16th and requested to have it made in red. Our production team worked very hard and overtime to create a high-quality dress for you, being attentive to every single detail regarding the extremely few measurements you provided; even details you never thought about like the right color of the sheer mesh to suit your skin tone. That kind of elaborate dress would have taken normally more than one month to be produced and sent to you, and yet you got your dress on November 29th. You didn't pay anything on shipping and you didn't pay anything on sale tax; everything was on us. Once you had your dress you said there were a few problems with it. We immediately proposed to send you a free return ticket for a full refund (even though our return policy clearly says that you can not return a customized dress) of the total amount you spent on the dress, or a second proposal was for you to keep the dress and receive a partial refund of $200 for any alterations, plus $100 store credit which you already received. You never wanted to return the dress but asked us instead for a refund of almost $400 on a dress that cost you $588.99, which our sales team considered completely absurd. You should keep in mind that our business is a bridal dress business where we offer bargain prices for great quality dresses that otherwise would have cost over $1,500. All future brides know that once you purchase an expensive bridal dress all the alterations on the dress are a separate expense that belongs to the bride. Not with us, though. We try to minimize all future alterations by preparing the dress according to the customer's measurements which you failed to provide in full.
It is disappointing that during this whole process you were never grateful for all the hard work we did for you, or the fact that you never appreciated the speed with which our team tried to solve your problem, but instead tried to take advantage of the situation. If you thought the dress or your experience with us was awful, you could have opted to return the dress for free when we proposed it and you would still have had more than two weeks' time to find a new dress for the party.

I was more than a little hesitant to order my wedding dress online but it turned out better than I ever imagined. The dress was very beautifully made to order with really lovely fabric. Couldn't be happier, Thank you!!!
